Aaron's take

"Chiropractor near me" gets around 673,000 searches a month in the US. That is a huge number for a local service, and almost all of it goes to whoever sits in the map pack. For a chiropractic practice, the Google Business Profile and reviews matter more than anything else on this page.

The second thing the data shows is doubt. Rising searches include questions like whether a chiropractor is a real doctor. Practices that answer that openly, with credentials, what a first visit involves and which conditions they treat, win the patients who are curious but cautious. Pages for back pain, sciatica, pregnancy and car accident care catch patients who search by problem.

Your website

Pages your website needs

In the order I would build them. Each page targets one group of searches.

  1. Condition pages: back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches

Patients search for their problem first. Each condition page catches them before they pick a practice.

  2. First visit page

Explain what happens, how long it takes, what it costs and whether you take insurance. It answers the doubts that stop people booking.

  3. Car accident and injury page

Car accident chiropractor searches are rising, and these patients often need documentation and fast appointments.

  4. Pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic page

Pediatric and infant chiropractor searches are rising, and pregnancy chiropractor is a common search. Say clearly which techniques and certifications you have.

  5. Doctor profile pages

Credentials, training and approach answer the "is this a real doctor" question directly and build trust.

  6. Insurance and pricing page

Cost and insurance are common questions. Clear answers keep patients on your site instead of calling around.

How I plan and build sites like this

Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile for chiropractors

Primary category
Chiropractor
Secondary categories
Wellness centerMassage therapistAcupuncturistPhysical therapist

Categories checked on October 13, 2026

What to get right

  • Use Chiropractor as your primary category. The most-reviewed US practices I checked add few secondaries, usually Wellness center, Massage therapist or Physical therapist.
  • Only add Physical therapist or Acupuncturist if a licensed provider of that service works at your practice.
  • Your profile decides most new patients, because "chiropractor near me" is such a large search. Keep hours, photos and services complete.
  • Never confirm in a review reply that the reviewer is your patient. Thank them without mentioning treatment details.

Reviews

Reviews that matter for chiropractors

Where reviews count

  • Google
  • Yelp
  • Healthgrades
  • Zocdoc
  • Ask every customer, not only the happy ones, right after the job is done.
  • Send one short message with a direct link, so leaving a review takes a single tap.
  • Reply to every review, good or bad, calmly and specifically.
  • Never pay for reviews or offer anything in return. It breaks Google's rules.

Ads and SEO

Local Services Ads, Google Ads and SEO

Chiropractors can advertise with Local Services Ads, the "Google Verified" ads that sit above everything else for many local searches. You pay per lead, not per click.

  • Google category: Chiropractor
  • The Google Verified badge is available for this category.
  • Pre-badge ads are not available, so ads only run once verification is complete.
  • Booking leads are not available for health care categories.

Google is moving Local Services Ads into Performance Max with pay-per-lead goals, starting with a first US phase in August 2026.

Ads and SEO work best together. Ads buy leads while your organic and map rankings grow, and strong reviews and a complete Google Business Profile help both. As SEO brings in more leads for free, you can lower ad spend on the searches you already win.

For context, Google search ads in the Physicians & Surgeons category average $40.04 per lead (LocaliQ, 2026). That is a search ads benchmark, not a Local Services Ads lead price.

Mistakes

Mistakes chiropractors make

  1. Neglecting the Google Business Profile

With so much search volume on "chiropractor near me", the map pack decides most new patients. An incomplete profile costs more than any website issue.

  2. Making medical claims you cannot back up

Overstated claims damage trust and can break advertising rules. Describe what you treat and how, plainly.

  3. Hiding credentials

Many people search to check whether chiropractors are qualified. Put training, licences and certifications where they can see them.

  4. No condition pages

Patients search for back pain or sciatica before they search for a chiropractor. Without condition pages, you miss them.

FAQ

Chiropractor SEO questions

How important is the Google Business Profile for chiropractors?

It is the most important part of chiropractic SEO. "Chiropractor near me" gets around 673,000 searches a month in the US, and most of those clicks go to the map pack. Complete categories, services, hours, photos and a steady flow of reviews matter more than anything else.

Can chiropractors use Local Services Ads?

Yes. Chiropractor is a Local Services Ads category in the US, under Google's health care rules. Booking leads and pre-badge ads are not available for health care, so ads only run once verification is complete. Reviews help both the ads and your map ranking.

Which pages should a chiropractic website have?

Condition pages for back pain, neck pain, sciatica and headaches, a first visit page, a car accident page, pregnancy and pediatric pages if you offer that care, doctor profiles, and an insurance and pricing page. Each answers a different search and a different doubt.

How should chiropractors handle skeptical patients online?

Answer the questions directly. Rising searches include whether a chiropractor is a real doctor. Show your training, licences and approach, explain what a visit involves, and avoid claims you cannot support. Openness wins more cautious patients than bold promises. Reviews from real patients describing their visit help more than anything you say yourself.

How much does SEO cost for a chiropractic practice?

It depends on your area, how many locations you have and what your site needs. Most practices pay monthly, because reviews, condition pages and profile work need steady attention. I look at your site and the practices near you first, then give you a fixed quote.
